Option-SYS includes PWRSINE, PRT, SIMRC and the external EA001A Thermocouple Simulation/Measurement Adapter at a discounted price.
The 4000 Series is aimed at laboratories, manufacturers and design facilities requiring a wide range of outputs with accuracies up to 8ppm.
The 4000 Series builds on the trusted reliability of the 3000A series, offering an updated user interface accessed through a large 7" capacitive touch screen to enable advanced functionality, including a built-in procedure mode and inbuilt connection prompts to minimise errors.
Procedures can be loaded into the 4000 Series via USB memory stick, with results stored for integration back into ProCal software. The 4000 Series also provides USB printer connectivity as standard, supporting a wide range of PCL compatible printers. Reports can be printed directly from the calibrator - ideal for in-situ or on-site applications.
Expanding the outputs offered by the 3000A series, the 4000 series provides an advanced oscilloscope calibration option with bandwidth calibration of up to 6 GHz with variable level. This expands the calibration workload to include spectrum analysers and high bandwidth oscilloscopes.
To maintain confidence in your equipment, simply connect an 8000 series digital multimeter to the rear of the unit and enter 'self-calibration mode'. The 4000 series will then proceed to measure its outputs automatically and generate a test report which can be exported to a USB memory stick for analysis on a computer, and print a test report via a USB printer for maintaining records.
As with all Transmille products, compatibility with ProCal calibration software is guaranteed. Existing procedures will not need to be re-written due to Transmille's unique implementation of flexible standards support where procedures are written around the UUT not the standard.

For full calibration of LCR meters, an inductance output is required. Option IND adds 8 fixed inductance values to enable complete calibration, available on 3000/4000 only.
To offer complete calibration of LCR/RLC meters Transmille products feature an option to add inductance outputs, removing the need to switch connections or use external standards.
Incorporates 8 precision values, including 19mH and 29mH values for linearity checking of '3' range meters.
Option PWRDDS expands on the functionality of PWRSINE by adding the ability to simulate harmonics, distortion, dropouts and flicker for calibration of power meters with power quality functions,available on 3000/4000 only.
The PWRDDS option enables cost-effective calibration of power (watts) and VA ranges on power meters and clamp meters with power measurement functions. The PWRDDS option provides variable voltage and current simultaneously with an accurately adjustable phase relationship. In addition to the functions provided by PWRSINE, PWRDDS enables harmonics and distortion to be added to the power output for calibration of power quality functions of advanced power meters.
Any voltage up to 1025V can be set, with a maximum current output of 30A without the need for external current amplifiers, allowing up to 1.5MW of power to be simulated.
The power function is very easy to use through intuitive menu design. Simply select 'Power' from the calibrator menu, enter the required parameters and connect the power meter to the indicated terminals. Voltage, current, frequency and phase can all be entered using the numerical keyboard, with phase angle adjustable to a resolution of 0.1°.
Power output is automatically calculated, and power factor and apparent power are also displayed on the screen automatically for quick comparison.
Pre-programmed harmonics are loaded into memory, with custom waveform shapes able to be loaded into the calibrator through the included computer software for completely customised testing with waveforms with custom harmonic content.

To provide RS232 connections on modern computers and laptops, Transmille provide a USB to RS232 connection using the industry standard FTDI chipset for guaranteed compatibility.
Drivers are included with support for Windows XP through to Windows 10, supporting 32 and 64 bit operating systems.

Temperature gradients and Thermal EMF's, which can be introduced by internally fitted thermocouple simulation methods, are one of the greatest sources of error when calibrating thermocouple meters.
For the ultimate in accuracy, Transmille has designed a dedicated source/measure external adapter.
